Burns, Curran & Jacks net ahead of the season - Kia Oval Skip to main content

Surrey’s men’s squad are working hard in the Kia Oval marquee ahead of the start of the 2022 season, including Club captain Rory Burns, England all-rounder Sam Curran and recent T20 star Will Jacks.

Burns is in the nets ahead of what is likely to be a consistent run in the Surrey side early in the season, having missed out on selection for the ongoing Test series with West Indies.

Curran is in rehab having suffered a lower back injury during last year’s Indian Premier League and progressing well. He has been working hard on all facets of his game, with batting taking precedence in this session.

Finally, Jacks is back in the country having been a star man at the recent Bangladesh Premier League and then continued his franchise journey for the tail end of the Pakistan Super League. While he is now a star of the T20 side, he will also be looking to cement his place in the Club’s LV= County Championship XI.
