Life time Surrey player, Charlotte Lambert is set to depart the Club at the end of the season.
Charlotte Lambert will leave Surrey as the season ends and has signed with new tier one side, Glamorgan.
The right-arm seamer has been a part of the Three Feathers set up since the age of nine, progressing through the age group pathway before signing her first full-time contract following the professionalisation of the women’s game in 2025.
During her time at the Club, Lambert was selected to represent England at the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup in 2025 and was a regular in Surrey’s amateur county side before 2025.
Having been part of the South East Stars Academy during the era of regional cricket, Lambert made her senior debut for Surrey in 2026 after returning from an injury that kept her out of selection for the 2025 season.
Emma Calvert, Director of Women’s Cricket said, “Charlotte has been a part of Surrey since she was a child and has grown into a mature, young cricketer.
“We are incredibly proud of the development Charlotte has shown over the years and whilst it is sad to see her leave, I look forward to watching her develop further from afar.”
Charlotte Lambert said “It is an emotional departure for me. Having grown up at the Club, it was an incredibly hard decision for me to reach, but a new chapter I look forward to.
“I have developed so much over the past decade, and I am very thankful to all the staff and players who have helped shape me into the player I am today. Thank you to everyone, I look forward to seeing you all on the pitch.”
