Our new T20 captain Chris Jordan says the prospect of returning to his cricketing home was too good to turn down when Surrey approached him last year.

Speaking in an interview with Mark Church at The Kia Oval, Jordan described his joy at being back where it all began for him in professional cricket.

Jordan came to the UK from Barbados as a teenager on a scholarship upon the invite of former England player & current Head of Cricket at Dulwich College Bill Athey. Jordan was then immediately on the radar of then first team coach Alan Butcher. In total in his first stay with Surrey, Jordan played 68 matches, took 99 wickets and scored 1059 runs.

Now, after nine seasons with Sussex during which he has taken 146 wickets across all formats for England, he is back to lead Surrey in T20 cricket. Click below to see

The best way to see Jordan and his teammates in action at The Kia Oval in 2022 is with a Club Membership, priced at £20 for U16s and starting from £71 for adults. Alternatively, all Vitality Blast tickets will be on general sale on Wednesday 9th March.
