Surrey fast bowler Conor McKerr has joined Notts Outlaws on a two-week limited overs loan deal ahead of the Vitality Blast.
The Surrey seamer will join the Outlaws squad for training before their T20 opener against Derbyshire Falcons at Trent Bridge on Friday 26 May.
McKerr played two Championship matches for Surrey in 2022, in victories against Yorkshire and Warwickshire, and three games in the Vitality Blast. He was also Surrey’s leading wicket taker in last year’s One Day Cup.
McKerr signed an extension to his Surrey contract in 2022 and leaves on loan in hope of maximising his playing time in the coming weeks.
Director of Cricket Alec Stewart said: “This is a another good opportunity for Conor to get some valuable playing time.
“We all wish him well and will be keeping an eye on his performances.”
