Surrey bowler Jade Dernbach has joined Derbyshire on loan for their remaining Vitality Blast group stage matches.
The 35-year-old will be available for Derbyshire’s Friday night meeting with Worcestershire Rapids and then their three subsequent fixtures with Durham, Northants Steelbacks & Yorkshire Vikings on the 9th, 16th and 18th July respectively.
Dernbach makes the same journey previously made by fellow seamer Conor McKerr, who took five wickets in seven matches before his recall earlier this week.
He has played two matches so far for Surrey in this year’s Vitality Blast.
