The rest of the Surrey fixture list was confirmed yesterday after last week’s Vitality Blast schedule was released.
Rory Burns’ side will open their County Championship attack with an away trip to Chelmsford to face Essex from Friday 4 April. Surrey’s new professional women’s team willplay their first competitive fixture against Somerset at Beckenham on Wednesday 23 April in the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
The Vitality Blast starts with a mouth-watering double-header at Somerset on Friday 30 May, with both men’s and women’s teams playing Somerset in their opening fixtures of the competition. The Kia Oval’s first T20 match of the season will see both Surrey men’s and women’s teams face Hampshire at the Kia Oval on Thursday 5 June.
Bryony Smith’s Surrey side play their opening T20 match of the season on Saturday 17 May in the Vitality T20 Women’s County Cup. Surrey enter the competition at the third round stage and will play Hampshire at Beckenham.
Guildford will host three matches in 2025. Surrey women face Hampshire in the Metro Bank One Day Cup, before Surrey men play Leicestershire (Wed 6 August) and Gloucestershire (Fri 8 Aug) in the One Day Cup.
The season will conclude with Surrey men playing away at Hampshire from Wednesday 24 September.
