With the Vitality Blast less than three weeks away, the excitement is building at The Kia Oval; and Surrey CCC and Xbox are teaming up to offer fans and players the chance to win a brand new Xbox Series S console!
All you need to do is predict scores – just like you would do when watching cricket with your mates – and guess the Xbox ‘Power Player’ of the season!
Two lucky winners, who correctly predict either which Surrey batter will get the highest individual score, and what that score will be, or which Surrey bowler will post the best figures, and what those will be, in a T20 Vitality Blast match at The Kia Oval, will win the prize. The two winning Surrey players will also win an Xbox Series S console thanks to the team at Xbox.
Last year’s winners would have been Will Jacks (76) who led the team to a final ball victory over Somerset with Sam Curran (69) and Ollie Pope (62) coming in second and third place With the ball, Sam Curran’s 5/30 against Hampshire would have secured his place at the top of the Xbox ‘Power Player’ Leaderboard, Chris Jordan (4/31) and Reece Topley (4/37) completing last year’s top three.
The competition will run ahead of our first home Vitality Blast game against Kent with entry open from Friday, 5 May 2023 to Thursday, 25 May 2023 till 11:59pm. The draw will happen on Monday, 3 July 2023 at 10:00am and, within one day, the winner will be emailed by the Club.
To participate in the competition, entrants need to be UK residents and be aged 16 or above. Furthermore, only one entry per participant will be allowed. If there are multiple entries from a person, these will be discarded and only their first entry will be counted.
