SURREY SQUAD
Surrey make one change to the squad from Tuesday’s victory at Kibworth. Rory Burns will be rested the remainder of the competition to prepare for the end of season run-in.
Adam Thomas has joined up with the Metro Bank ODC squad and is available to to play against Essex at Chelmsford tomorrow. The Surrey U18 captain played against Cambridgeshire in the showcase fixture earlier this season, scoring an excellent 62 on a difficult batting wicket. He backed it up with 174 in a three-day fixture against Kent U18’s last month. Playing for Guildford CC in the Surrey Championship, he has scored over 250 runs at an average of more than 50.
