Ben Geddes and Mark Stoneman were the star batters as Surrey thrashed Kent by 34 runs in a 2nd XI T20 at The Kia Oval on Sunday.

Geddes notched up 73 from 48 balls and Stoneman 63 from 37 as Surrey made 195/8 from their 20 overs and then restricted Kent to 161/7.

Conor McKerr was the star bowler, with figures of 4/20 ably backed up by fellow professionals Ryan Patel (2/24) and Amar Virdi (1/26).
