Surrey Academy bowler Sean Hunt took eight wickets across two innings in this weekend’s Young Lions North v South three-day fixture.
A tall left arm seamer, Hunt claimed three wickets from nine overs in the first innings of the match before spearheading the attack in the second with a five wicket-haul.
With his side set to bat today, Hunt ends the match with figures of 8/50 from 28 overs.
Born in Guildford, 18-year-old Hunt has progressed through the ranks at Surrey, bowling medium-fast from a height that provides extra bounce, and was named Academy Player of the Year in 2019.
