Surrey batsman Will Jacks has made a strong start to his Chattogram Challengers campaign in the Bangladesh Premier League.

Jacks is opening the batting for the Challengers, alongside West Indian Kennar Lewis and has reached double figures in every innings to date.

After a relatively sedate 16 off 20 balls in an opening loss to Fortune Barishal, Jacks began to show his true potential with a barnstorming 41 from 24 balls in the Challengers’ second game – a comfortable win over Minister Group Dhaka – before increasing his strike rate even further as he smashed 17 off 7 balls in their third outing, a 25 run victory over the Khulna Tigers.

The Chertsey born big hitter is back in action this weekend, with his Challengers set for action against the Sylhet Sunrisers at 11.30am on Saturday morning and then again on Monday at 6.30am UK time when they’ll play the Comilla Victorians.

BPL cricket continues throughout February, with the final set to take place on Friday February 18th.
