Surrey have named a squad of 15 for Friday’s must-win Vitality Blast South Group match against Gloucestershire, starting at 2:30pm in Cheltenham.
Currently sitting in fifth place, Surrey must win and wait for results on the final day of group action on Sunday to see if we will claim a quarter-final spot.
Gloucestershire are currently in third, one point ahead of Surrey, and will play Somerset in their last group fixture on Sunday.
Will Jacks returns to the squad for Surrey after being part of the England group for the recent ODI series with Pakistan. Reece Topley is also in the matchday squad for the first time in this year’s Vitality Blast after recovering from a side strain.
Tom Curran & Jason Roy are part of the England IT20 squad that will begin their three-match series with Pakistan on Friday evening. Sam Curran has been rested by the ECB.
Jamie Overton will be out for period of time due to a calf injury sustained during the LV= County Championship fixture with Somerset.
Ollie Pope remains unavailable with a thigh injury that will keep him out until the start of the England v India Test series that begins early next month. Ben Foakes (hamstring) and Liam Plunkett (calf) are continuing to work on their returns to fitness.
The match will begin at 2:30pm. A live stream will be available from our hosts in Cheltenham and shared on kiaoval.com.
Radio commentary, including the BBC’s Mark Church, will be available here. We will also have regular updates on social media throughout the match.
