£24,000

per annum

  • 23 days holiday per year increasing to 28 days based on length of service

Job Overview

No experience needed – full training will be provided

  • Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Cash Book Processing

General Duties

  • ensure that finance information is accurate and up to date at all times. Ensuring that levels of authorization are met and entries coded correctly
  • reconcile supplier accounts
  • raising of sales invoices
  • assisting with credit control
  • helping with queries from suppliers and staff regarding purchase and sales ledger information
  • carry out other duties and responsibilities of a similar nature which may be required from time to time

 

Quality:

  • work with the Financial Accountant to ensure that standards within the department are constantly met

 

Working Relationships:

  • essential that Finance staff work harmoniously together and take collective responsibility for the delivery of efficient service to all departments

This role will involve working on some match days and events which take place in the evening and weekends.

Essential Requirements

  • has a natural eye for detail
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • computer literate and confident in MS Excel; Word and Outlook.

  • ability to work to strict pressured deadlines
  • motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
  • a “can-do” attitude
