Jordan Clark was awarded his Surrey County Cap at lunchtime on Day 3 of the LV= County Championship match between Surrey and Yorkshire at the Micky Stewart Oval. The Cap was presented by Surrey Interim Chair Martin Eadon.

Clark joined Surrey in 2018 from Lancashire and quickly settled into the dressing room, becoming a key part of the leadership group. The all-rounder has taken 80 first-class wickets for Surrey at an average of 31, as well as scoring nearly 900 runs – including his first Surrey century earlier this season at Bristol.

Clark has established himself as a regular member of the side across all formats and is an influential figure on and off the pitch. He becomes the second player to receive their County Cap this year, after Will Jacks was awarded his during the game against Essex.
