Surrey’s early season LV= County Championship signing Kemar Roach enjoyed an excellent first day of West Indies’ two-match Test series with Sri Lanka.

Roach took the wickets of Dhananjaya de Silva, Pathum Nissanka & Dushmantha Chameera to end with figures of 3/47 as Sri Lanka were all out for 169 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

Roach will join up with Surrey after the completion of the second Test match and, subject to COVID regulations, will be available for selection for our season opener with Gloucestershire in Bristol. He will remain with the Club for the first seven matches before returning home to prepare for upcoming West Indies commitments.
