Surrey all-rounder Jamie Overton smashed 38 from 11 balls to seal Team Abu Dhabi’s first victory at the Abu Dhabi T10 League.
Having played a similar role for Surrey in 2020, Overton shone as the finisher in Sunday’s win over Pune Devils. Need 130 from their 10 overs to win, Overton took his team over the line with nine balls remaining.

Team Abu Dhabi took two points from the initial group stage into the Super League stage that begins today. In the other group, Laurie Evans’ Maratha Arabians also claimed one win from three matches.
