Surrey Cricket Foundation took 21 children from the Croydon Street Youth Programme for a three day residential camp in Arundel earlier this month.
With cricket activities, a bushcraft challenge & a tour of the world famous castle, Arundel Foundation delivered the programme each morning before the group returned to their accomodation at Lodgehill for archery, abseiling and a campfire.
Before beginning the journey back to South London, the last day comprised of a trip to beach and a lunch of fish & chips.
As a part of the historic county of Surrey, Croydon is a focus of the Surrey Cricket Foundation who seek to deliver cricket-based opportunities and coaching for children at schools & clubs around the county.
This includes residential camps, coaching sessions and funding for clubs. To find out more about the Surrey Cricket Foundation, click here.
