Surrey Women all-rounder Nat Sciver was one of the star players as England completed a 2-1 ODI series victory over New Zealand last week.

Sciver ended the three matches as leading wicket taker across both teams and the fifth highest run scorer. Her five wickets from her 23.4 overs came at an average of just 16.60 while her 96 runs with one not out came at an average of 48.

The Surrey Pathway Graduate was named of the Player of the Match in the second and decisive fixture after taking three wickets and scoring 63 runs.

This form has seen Sciver climb the ICC rankings, moving up to 10th in the batting and career-high 22nd with the ball. She is fifth in the ICC all-rounder rankings. Her form also saw her nominated for this month’s ICC Women’s Player of the Month.

England Women will now face New Zealand again in three T20 fixtures all in Wellington on 3rd, 5th & 6th March.

Sophia Dunkley is also part of the England touring party but did not play in any of the One-Day Internationals.
