Surrey County Cricket Club have named a squad of 14 for this week’s trip to Lord’s to face Middlesex in the LV County Championship.

Both sides will be looking to register their first victory in Group 2 in this fixture, starting at 11am on Thursday 22nd April. Surrey have one draw and one defeat to their name so far while Middlesex have lost both of their matches so far; against Somerset & Hampshire.

This is Surrey’s first first-class match at Lord’s since Kumar Sangakkara scored two centuries in one fixture back in May 2017.

Gus Atkinson & Reece Topley return to the squad after being rested for last week’s Kia Oval draw with Leicestershire. Matt Dunn and Jamie Overton, who played in that match, are rested for this fixture with another six matches in six weeks to come before the white-ball block begins.

Rikki Clarke is added to the squad having played in 2nd XI cricket in recent weeks to prove his fitness.

Although the game will be played behind closed doors, there are multiple ways to keep up with the action from Lord’s.

As with all non-televised Surrey fixtures this summer, the match will be live-streamed on kiaoval.com, the Surrey YouTube and Facebook channels, the ECB website and the ECB app. This stream is provided by our colleagues at Middlesex.

Live ball by ball radio commentary will also be available via the BBC Sport app and website

For those unable to follow the action live, there will be regular updates and highlights on the club’s Twitter and Instagram feeds and there will be full statistical coverage on the Match Centre, available on the Surrey club website.
