Surrey batsman Mark Stoneman has joined Yorkshire on loan for the remainder of their Vitality Blast group stage campaign, except Friday 9th July.

The left-hander will return to Surrey for the two LV= County Championship fixtures with Hampshire and Somerset, starting on the 4th & 11th July respectively.

As Yorkshire’s 9th July meeting with Notts Outlaws falls between Surrey’s two red-ball matches that month, this match is not included in the current agreement.

He is then expected to again be available for Yorkshire on the 17th & 18th July as they complete their group stage against Lancashire Lightning and Derbyshire Falcons.

His first match as part of Yorkshire’s squad will be the Saturday night clash with Northamptonshire at Emerald Headingley.

Stoneman has scored 397 first-class runs for Surrey so far this season but is yet to feature in the Vitality Blast.
