Voting is open for Surrey’s End of Season Awards with Members able to cast a vote for eight awards across the Surrey men and women’s sides.

Members can cast their votes until Thursday 18 September at 5PM, click here to cast your vote – please note you’ll need your Membership number to hand.

This year’s End of Season Awards will take place on Wednesday 1 October at the Kia Oval.

It’s been another terrific season of cricket for Surrey’s teams and it’s time to pick your players who deserve recognition for their efforts.

Members can vote for the following awards:

  • Men’s Batter of the Year
  • Men’s Bowler of the Year
  • Women’s Batter of the Year
  • Women’s Bowler of the Year
  • Sylvester Clarke Moment of the Season (see more details below)
  • Anne Bickerstaff Emerging Player award (see more details below)
  • Vitality Blast T20 Men’s Player of the Season
  • Vitality Blast T20 Women’s Player of the Season

Adam Thomas (162) and Ollie Sykes’ (115) maiden hundreds for Surrey, and 265-run stand, against Derbyshire (Men’s One-Day Cup)

Kira Chathli’s blistering 96 as Surrey set a record score against Hampshire (T20 County Cup)

Surrey’s 348-6 against Durham at Beckenham (Women’s One Day Cup)

Surrey beating Warwickshire by 5 wickets to win the the inaugural title (Women’s T20 Blast)

 

Anne Bickerstaff Emerging Player award (nominations by Heads of Talent Pathway)

Ralphie Albert – This summer has represented England U19s, Surrey 2s, London/South East at Super 4s and the U18s, and made three List A appearances for the first team in the Metro Bank One Day Cup. Scored 96 in his first senior knock, as well as taking 2/50, helping Surrey to a hard-fought win over Notts.

Ollie Hunt – This summer has represented Surrey 2s, London/South East at Super 4s and the U18s, and made his List A debut in the Metro Bank One Day Cup against Derbyshire. Has scored 1099 runs at 54.95 for the U18s, including 14 50s.

Alex Dodson – This summer has represented Surrey 2s, London/South East at Super 4s and the U18s. Alex is a promising wicketkeeper/batter who has made match-winning contributions with both gloves and bat.

Hannah Burridge – A breakthrough season with the bat scoring 445 runs at an average of 49.44, with 3 50s and 1 100, high score of 123* in a 3-day fixture vs Hampshire. Has also contributed with high scores in Surrey U18 cricket, scoring an important 51 in the one day knock out cup final. Earned herself selection into the South v South competition.

Genevieve Jeer – Solidifying her role as an all rounder this season which has culminated in her call ups to England U19 development training camps, South v South, and the Super 4s. Was also selected to travel with the senior team on their pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi.

Daisy Brandon – Her first year in the Academy and has shown outstanding moments with the bat, showing her unique batting style and big hitting with a high score of 81* and hitting 3 50s this season. This has led to her selection into South v South and Super 4s.
