Surrey have confirmed the full coaching line up for the new, professional women’s team at the Club.
Tom Lister, Dan Helesfay and Dieter Klein will make up the coaching team under Head Coach Johann Myburgh.
Lister has been a coach at Surrey since 2015, joining the Surrey women’s county set up in 2018 as an Assistant coach. He was Head Coach from in 2020 when Surrey won the London Cup and the London Championship before joining the South East Stars to work under Myburgh.
Helesfay was also an Assistant Coach at the Surrey Stars in the KSL era, before joining the Western Storm with responsibility for the Academy Team. He joined the South East Stars in 2023 as bowling lead, a role he will continue at Surrey.
Klein joins Surrey from Leicestershire where he has been a coach since retiring as a player in 2021. The former fast-bowler has held roles in women’s and pathway cricket at Leicestershire, he will join Surrey as lead Second XI Coach, also supporting Halesfay with the bowling unit.
