Surrey Women will be fighting for four trophies in a packed summer of cricket as ECB’s 50-over county competition returns to the domestic calendar.
2024 will see the Three Feathers defend the London Cup against Middlesex at The Kia Oval on Tuesday, 11 June, as well as aim to reclaim the London Championship and Vitality County T20 trophies.
An away fixture versus Hampshire in the 50-over competition on Sunday, 21 April, will kickstart Surrey’s season. The home campaign in the same format will begin against Essex on Monday, 6 May, before breaking for a phase of Vitality County T20 cricket.
To kick off the T20 competition, Surrey will take on Middlesex and Hertfordshire on the first matchday on Sunday, 26 May, before facing Kent and Sussex on the second matchday on Sunday, 16 June.
After five games of T20 cricket, including the London Cup, the 50-over competition will return for its final two rounds, with the Three Feathers going against Sussex at home on Sunday 30, June, and Middlesex away on Sunday, 14 July.
The group stages of the T20 competition will conclude in the latter half of the summer. Surrey will welcome Suffolk and Berkshire for the third matchday on Sunday, 28 July, with the fourth and final matchday also taking place at home on Sunday, 11 August, where the hosts will play Essex and Buckinghamshire.
The Three Feathers’ away trips in the London Championship – which is a round-robin, 50-over competition – will be against Kent on Saturday, 11 May at Beckenham, and Middlesex on Saturday, 20 July, with home fixtures versus Essex and Sussex still to be confirmed.
