Captain James Taylor led from the front and took four wickets as Surrey Second XI wrapped up a convincing innings victory over Yorkshire at Guildford, despite losing much of the opening two days to rain.
After declaring on 384/7 with a hefty lead of 211 runs, having started the final day 80 runs ahead of their visitors, the Three Feathers bowled out Yorkshire for 181 to win by an innings and 30 runs.
Joining the squad this morning, Ollie Sykes came out firing to smash 58 runs from 47 balls, an enterprising knock that included eight fours and two big sixes.
The hard-hitting left-hander received ample support from the other end, with George Ealham (36 off 23 balls) and Nathan Barnwell (15* from 10 balls) playing important cameos before Surrey declared.
The day went from bad to worse for the visitors as the Three Feathers started strongly with the new ball and had Yorkshire 29/4, with a double strike from Barnwell (2/46) before Seb Stuart-Reckling (2/40), returning from injury, did the same.
O Smith and keeper JP Thompson, from there on, tried to dig in and prevent a further slide for the White Rose, managing well for 39 runs before Taylor got the breakthrough, finding the outside edge and having Thompson (19) caught at first slip.
Another mini partnership started to form between Smith and PS Greenfield, but this time Luke Griffiths got involved and snicked off Greenfield (3) as Josh Blake pouched a tidy diving catch.
Smith, now joined by EP Burch, kept showing more fight and started to express himself. Having hit 13 fours to reach a fluent 72 from 83 balls, Harry Gardner did him with a beautiful flighted off spinner that bowled the Yorkshire batter through the gate.
While Burch (48*) carried forward the resistance from one end, Surrey kept striking from the other, with Taylor taking the remaining three wickets and wrapping up the tail.
The skipper bowled CH Taylor (6) and B Sylvester (0) before getting J Singh caught in the slips as Surrey completed a comprehensive win in Woodbridge Road.
