The men’s Second XI will once again compete in the Second XI T20 and Championship, as well as a comprehensive list of red ball and 50 over friendlies in the 2026 summer.
Last season, the team won the Second XI Championship, beating Worcestershire by 201 runs in September’s final.
The season gets underway with three friendlies against SACA, Middlesex and Sussex before the Championship defence gets underway against Durham at LSE.
The Second XI Championship consists of five four-day red ball matches, with the final being played from September 8-11.
The Three Feathers will also face Nottinghamshire (8-11 June) and Kent (18-21 August) in the Championship at LSE before trips to the westcountry to face Somerset at Taunton Vale (25-28 August) and Gloucestershire (1-4 September).
The T20s start from 13 May, allowing the squad time to prepare for the start of the Vitality Blast.
Kent (15 May), Middlesex (20 May), Essex (26 May), Sussex (28 May) and Hampshire (29 June) will visit LSE in the T20s. The Second XI Finals Day will take place on Tuesday 7 July 2026.
SACA (14 July) and Northamptonshire (16 July) are the opposition for some 50 over friendlies to prepare the squad for the Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign.
The season will conclude with a three-day red ball friendly with Hampshire at Wimbledon from 15-17 September.
