Surrey seam bowler Ryana MacDonald-Gay has been called up to England’s Test squad for December’s Test match in South Africa
The Surrey seam bowler made her England ODI and T20 debut in September’s series in Ireland.
Ryana took 21 wickets in the 2024 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy at an impressive average of 16.71. In the shorter formats, she took eight wickets for the Stars in the Charlotte Edwards Cup and eight wickets in The Hundred for the Oval Invincibles.
MacDonald-Gay joins Surrey teammates Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Sophia Dunkley in the Test squad that gets underway on Sunday 15 December at the Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein.
