Surrey youngsters Nathan Barnwell, Yousef Majid and James Taylor have all signed contract extensions with Surrey, whilst Nico Reifer and Nick Kimber have both left the Club.

Promising fast-bowler James Taylor, 22, joined Surrey ahead of the 2020 season and played three times in 2022 as Surrey won the County Championship title.

Academy products Nathan Barnwell, 20, and Yousef Majid, 19, both made their Surrey First Team debuts last season. Barnwell, a fast-bowler, and Majid, left-arm spinner, have both represented England U19s as well as playing regularly in the Surrey Second XI.

Nico Reifer, 23, joined the Surrey Talent Pathway at U15 and has played 21 times for the Club, Reifer was part of the 2021 One Day Cup side that reached the semi-finals of the competition.

Nick Kimber, 23, played 10 times for Surrey as well as representing England U19s. Kimber has decided to take a step back from cricket to explore other opportunities away from the game.
