Following the recent government announcement that sports grounds can only open to 25% capacity prior to 19th July, next week’s three Vitality Blast matches at The Kia Oval will now be Members only.
Due to the limited capacity of the venue for these fixtures, all tickets bought prior to Monday 14th June 2021 have been cancelled and refunded. This will arrive in the bank account of the original purchasing credit/debit card within 10 working days and you do not need to do anything to claim this refund.
As a Members’ Club, we have prioritised tickets secured by Surrey County Cricket Club Members. Members can log in to the ticketing site and reserve their seat now.
To clarify, this is the process for the following three fixtures:
- Surrey v Essex Eagles, Monday 21st June
- Surrey v Somerset, Wednesday 23rd June
- Surrey v Middlesex, Friday 25th June
For the visit of Kent Spitfires on 9th July, we remain hopeful that we will be permitted to welcome more than 25% of our capacity following a government review on restrictions.
By way of thanks for buying tickets this year, those who have missed out will have priority access to tickets for Vitality Blast matches at The Kia Oval in 2022. Details for this will be communicated to all 2021 ticket purchasers later in the year.
Ticket purchasers will also be able to claim a free ticket to a Royal London One-Day Cup fixture at The Kia Oval this summer. We will contact those in due course regarding this. Our 2021 fixtures can be found here.
Discussions remain ongoing with the government and the ECB about the upcoming Royal London One Day International between England and Sri Lanka on 1st July. Ticket purchasers will be contacted about this as soon as we have more information.
