Reece Topley is happy with his start to the domestic season after getting through 22 overs on the second day of his side’s LV= Insurance County Championship against Gloucestershire.

Topley is on his first-class debut for Surrey and his first overall in the format since September 2019 and he marked the occasion on Friday with figures of 4/64.

He spoke to Mark Church at the end of the second day’s play with Gloucestershire 311/8 with a first innings lead of 91.
