A look at everything that happened on the second day of play between Surrey and Middlesex at The Kia Oval in the LV= County Championship.
WHAT HAPPENED
Only 18 overs of cricket were possible on the second day of the Kia Oval London Derby with Surrey losing two wickets for 39 runs to finish on 185/8.
Hashim Amla was the first man to go, bowled by a delightful Tom Helm delivery crashing into the top of off stump for 24. Rikki Clarke followed in the next over for 19 before the rain set in and the players retreated to their changing rooms.
With just 74 overs bowled so far in this match and a less than perfect outlook for the weekend, this match is at risk of becoming Surrey’s third rain ruined draw in three weeks.
