Surrey will step up preparations for the 2023 season with two pre-season friendlies ahead of the opening game of the LV= Insurance County Championship campaign
The 2022 county champions will travel to the 1st Central County Ground Hove to face Sussex in a two-day friendly game on 27th and 28th March. Further details on this fixture will be announced closer to the time.
The Kia Oval will play host its first cricket of 2023 as Middlesex make the short trip across the Thames for a three-day friendly from 30th March – 1st April 2023. Entry to The Kia Oval will be free of charge.
We begin the defence of our LV= Insurance County Championship crown against Lancashire at Emirates Old Trafford, starting Thursday 6th April.
The first competitive action in 2023 at The Kia Oval takes place a week later when Surrey host Hampshire, starting Thursday 13th April.
