Amy Gordon’s Surrey side face Middlesex at the Kia Oval tomorrow in the 2024 London Cup

This will be the tenth edition of the London Cup, an annual T20 trophy between Surrey and Middlesex that was initiated in 2015 by then Director of Women’s Cricket, Ebony Rainford-Brent.

Amy Gordon’s side will be aiming to defend their crown, which they reclaimed at the same ground in 2022. Last year’s game at Lord’s was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to wet weather.

Entry to The Kia Oval is free, with play getting underway at 6:30pm.

Spectators will be will be able to enter through the Hobbs Gate from 5:30pm and will be permitted to sit in the Bedser Stand and the Micky Stewart Members Pavilion.

Refreshments and beverages will be served in the Presidents Lounge and Ali Brown Bar in the Micky Stewart Members Pavilion. The club shop will be open underneath the Galadari Stand.

The match will be broadcast live on the Surrey YouTube channel. You can keep up to date with play through Surrey’s social media channels, with a written match report published at the end of play.

SURREY SQUAD

Surrey have named a 13-player squad for the 2024 London Cup.

The Three Feathers are boosted by the availability of regional players such Rhianna Southby, Claudie Cooper, Maddie Blinkhorn-Jones and Kirstie White, to supplement an already strong squad.
