Surrey spinner Amar Virdi will join Somerset on loan for their game against Lancashire starting on Monday (11 July) at Southport. He joined up with the Somerset team over the weekend.
Alec Stewart, Director of Cricket at Surrey CCC, said “This is a very good opportunity for Amar to play some first team cricket, having not yet featured in our County Championship side this season.”
Virdi will return to Surrey after the conclusion of the game against Lancashire.
