Surrey’s Tilly Corteen-Coleman, Charlotte Lambert, Jemima Spence, Charlotte Stubbs and Amelie Baldie head to Malaysia for the ICC U19 T20 World Cup

Corteen-Coleman, Spence, Lambert and Stubbs will represent England, with Surrey Academy batter Amelie Baldie being selected by Scotland.

The competition marks a return to fitness for wicketkeeper batter Jemima Spence following a knee injury that ruled her out of the 2024 season. Spence is on a rookie contract with Surrey while she studies at Loughborough University.

Spence is joined in the England squad by left arm spin bowler Tilly Corteen-Coleman, who finished as the South East Stars’ top wicket-taker in the 2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup with 16 – including four wickets in four balls away at Northern Diamonds.

Seam bowler Charlotte Lambert is also part of the squad. The Surrey-born bowler has signed a rookie contract with Surrey’s professional team after featuring heavily for the county side in recent years. Alongside cricket, Lambert is also studying at Exeter University.

Surrey Academy bowler Charlotte Stubbs is part of the England squad. Stubbs has been a regular feature of the Surrey County side since 2022.

Surrey U16’s all-rounder Amelie Baldie has been selected in Scotland’s squad for the tournament. The Scots will face Australia and Bangladesh in Group C.

Hampshire’s Abi Norgrove will captain England at the tournament.
