Surrey’s Sam Curran, Will Jacks, Jamie Overton and Reece Topley are included in England’s 14-player squad for the upcoming T20 and ODI tour of the West Indies

All-rounder Sam Curran had another brilliant domestic summer, taking 19 wickets and scoring 438 runs in 14 domestic matches – including a maiden T20 century against Hampshire.

All-rounder Will Jacks played a part of England’s most recent white ball series with Australia. Jacks smashed a scintillating 84 in the victory at Durham.

Jamie Overton remains as part of the white ball squad after making his IT20 debut in September against Australia.

Reece Topley has taken four wickets in his last two Surrey matches and will look to take that form into the West Indies tour.

England will face the West Indies in three ODIs and five T20s during the three-week tour of Antigua, Barbados and St Lucia.

England Men’s white-ball captain Jos Buttler is set to return for the white-ball tour of West Indies later this month. Buttler missed the recent Vitality T20 and Metro Bank ODI Series against Australia as he continued his recovery from a calf injury.

Yorkshire leg-spinner Jafer Chohan earns his first England Men’s call-up and becomes the first graduate of the South Asian Cricket Academy to be selected to an England Men’s squad.

John Turner and Dan Moulsey are the only other uncapped player. Both were part of the squad for the recent white-ball series against Australia.

An initial 14-player squad has been selected, which will be supplemented with two players from the Test squad in Pakistan. A decision on the two players to join the white-ball squad in the Caribbean is to be made after selection for the third Test in Rawalpindi, which begins on Thursday 24 October.
