Falling snow across London and beyond has created a number of pretty sights in the capital this week, including adding a beautifully scenic coating to The Kia Oval.
Work on One Oval Square and the rest of the new development at the Pavilion End of the ground has continued since the end of the 2019 cricket season. The snow provides extra challenges for the construction workers but it does also make our ground glisten in February chill.
The outside of One Oval Square is an impressive view from the road around our famous old ground. We can’t wait to see it complete!
The untouched snow across much of the outfield with just some footprints of the players & coaches who have been making their way over to the marquee. The marquee provides warm conditions for outdoor training with less than two months until the County Championship begins.
Conor McKerr is one of the seam bowlers who have been the first to make use of the marquee this week.
Our assistant physiotherapist Paul Steele takes a stunning photo from the Pavilion End of the ground.
The best way to watch Surrey in action throughout the summer at The Kia Oval is with a Club Membership, available from just £69 for adults and £20 for U16s.
