The International Ticket ballot for the 2024 fixtures at The Kia Oval has closed with just under 70,000 individual ballot entries – a record for a non-Ashes year – as cricket fans flock to be where history happens next summer.

The number of entrants to the 2024 Ticket Ballot was 23% more than the previous highest figure from 2022; when England’s Men played South Africa and India in south London.

The proportion of ballot entrants requesting tickets for the Women’s IT20 between England and New Zealand is an all-time high for a women’s fixture of 16.4% – up from 10.9% in 2023 for the Women’s Ashes contest.

In 2024, England’s reigning World Champion T20 side, featuring the likes of Surrey’s Sam Curran, will open the international summer at The Kia Oval when they take on the exciting Pakistan team. Heather Knight will bring her team back to their happy hunting ground in south London as they face New Zealand in an IT20 fixture. The Test summer will end, as it always does, back at The Kia Oval when Ben Stokes’ entertainers look to close out the series against Sri Lanka in September.

Just under 50,000 tickets have already been sold in the Members’ exclusive window, with a 34% increase in sales for the Women’s IT20 fixture – showing the appetite for the women’s game is continuing to grow amongst fans who come to The Kia Oval.

There is currently limited availability for days one and two of the Test Match between Ben Stokes’ England and Sri Lanka and for the Men’s IT20 against Pakistan. There is good availability for the remaining days of the Test Match and for the Women’s IT20.

All ballot winners have been notified and will have from today (Tuesday 7 November) until 5PM on Friday 17 November to purchase their allocation before tickets are released for General Sale. Those who have been successful in the ballot will receive an email informing them when they are able to purchase their tickets.
