Surrey County Cricket Club are proud to have worked with Level Playing Field for their Weeks of Action campaign, training staff and ensuring a commitment to accessibility at The Kia Oval.

Level Playing Field are a charity campaigning for an inclusive matchday experience and equal access for all disabled sports fans in England and Wales.

On Friday 25th February, they came to The Kia Oval in order to give advice to ticketing & Membership staff on the latest advancements in terms of creating a welcoming sports experience for all at The Kia Oval whether it’s a LV= Insurance County Championship fixture or a sold-out Vitality Blast match or England international.

“Being able to participate alongside fellow fans has a positive impact on a person’s wellbeing. The power of sport should never be underestimated and having good access and inclusion is more than just attending a game – it is the right thing to do,” says Level Playing Field Chair Tony Taylor.

Weeks of Action is a campaign designed to bring awareness to this issue to ensure all sports venues in England and Wales are providing an inclusive experience for all.
