Surrey Women will face Middlesex at The Kia Oval in the annual T20 London Cup at The Kia Oval on Thursday 23rd June 2022 with free entry for all spectators.

Jonathan Batty’s team will be looking to reclaim the trophy they last lifted in 2020 when Kira Chathli was the star of a tense encounter, also staged at The Kia Oval. Middlesex were comfortable winners at Radlett Cricket Club in 2021.

The one-off match will potentially see the likes of Alice Capsey and Bryony Smith, who played for England A in Australia this winter, against Middlesex’s Naomi Dattani and Cordelia Griffith.

The fixture comes after a programme of ECB T20 fixtures played in April & May against our local rivals including Hampshire, Kent & Sussex. For more information on all Surrey Women fixtures, click here.

The match will begin at 6pm on Thursday 23rd June. For entry to this fixture, Members and spectators will simply be able to enter through the Hobbs Gate and take an unreserved seat around the ground. More information on food & drink options as well as the two squads will be available in the days before the fixture.

As well as Capsey & Smith, Surrey’s squad includes batter Aylish Cranstone & leg-spinner Danielle Gregory who are both professionals with South East Stars and a number of promising players including Chloe Brewer, Maddie Blinkhorn-Jones & wicket keeper Rhianna Southby.
