A look at everything that happened on the third day of play between Surrey and Somerset at the Cooper Associates County Ground in the LV= County Championship.

WHAT HAPPENED

Only nine overs were bowled on the third day of the rain-ruined LV=Insurance County Championship match between Somerset and Surrey at the Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton.

Play began on time with Surrey 191 for four and they were able to add 15 to their total before the rain started falling.

An early lunch was taken at 12.45pm, but by then a heavy downpour had left many areas of the outfield under water.

Umpires Nick Cook and Russell Warren called off play for the day at 1.30pm and the forecast for tomorrow is just as bad.

If the game does resume, Surrey will start at 206 for four, with Ben Foakes unbeaten on 16 and Jamie Smith 27 not out.
