Middlesex and Surrey will have to wait for a first win in this season’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup after their clash at Radlett was abandoned without a ball bowled

Heavy overnight rain left the playing area at the Brunton Memorial Ground soaked and with no sign of any let up in the weather the umpires decided soon after midday no play would be possible.
The London rivals lost their opening encounters in the competition to Hampshire and Leicestershire respectively.
Both sides will hope the weather gods will be kinder to them on Friday when Middlesex travel to Chelmsford to face Essex and Surrey entertain Kent at the Oval. Tickets for Surrey’s game with Kent Spitfires can be found here.
