Ollie Pope will captain Surrey for the first time in the Club’s final LV= County Championship fixture of the season, against Glamorgan at The Kia Oval between Tuesday 21st & Friday 24th September.

23-year-old Surrey Academy graduate Pope returned from the England squad for last week’s fixture with Essex and will lead the group in this fixture. Centrally contracted player Rory Burns continues to be rested by the ECB.

Wicket keeper Ben Foakes could make his first appearance since suffering a hamstring injury in May, having been named in the squad of 14. Foakes played for the 2nd XI earlier this month and has been cleared for this match by Club’s medical staff.

This match will be the last in Rikki Clarke’s distinguished professional career. Clarke has played 679 times since his senior debut in September 2001 including 22 appearances for England and 273 games for Surrey.

Nicholas Kimber & Jamie Overton continue to work with the Club’s medical staff on their return from injury.

Sam Curran, Tom Curran & Jason Roy are at the ongoing Indian Premier League and therefore unavailable for this match.

Tickets are available for this match here. Any ticket purchased can be used on any day. Each ticket can only be used once.
