Surrey have been confirmed as winners of the LV= Insurance County Championship Division One
The Three Feathers have been confirmed as County Champions after Essex failed to score the required bonus points in their match with Northamptonshire.
Surrey gained three bonus bowling points in their game with Hampshire, meaning Essex needed to score 400+ within 110 overs to stand a chance of winning the division. Essex were bowled out for 211, meaning that Surrey could not be toppled at the summit.
