Surrey sign Lancashire wicketkeeper-bat Alice Clarke on loan for the remainder of the county cup.
Clarke is a talented wicketkeeper-bat who will offer keeping cover ahead of Surrey’s Vitality County Cup quarter-final against Durham on Friday 23rd May.
Clarke is versatile in her discipline and often plays as specialist top-order batter. The 23-year old has a T20 top score 75* and averages 22 in the format. Debuting for her regional team, Lancashire Thunder in 2020, Clarke was a regular in the county’s age group cricket since under 15s.
Surrey will take on Durham at Guildford cricket club on Friday 23rd of May in their second T20 of the tournament.
If successful, Surrey will journey to the Cooper Associates County Ground Taunton where the other successful teams will go head-to-head to determine a winner of the Vitality County Cup.
