With just two months left of the English domestic season, Surrey’s players are busy doing their thing up and down the country in a range of formats.
Here we take a look at all the cricket ahead for our players over the next 31 days.
England v India Test Series
Rory Burns, Sam Curran & Ollie Pope are all in the squad that begins against India at Trent Bridge on Wednesday 4th August.
The Test series continues into September but the matches played in August are:
4th – 8th August, Trent Bridge
12th – 16th August, Lord’s
25th – 29th August, Emerald Headingley
England Women camp
England Women aren’t actually in action until the 1st September but will head into a camp before that series against New Zealand begins. We’ll see which Surrey Women are involved when the squad is announced by the ECB.
Surrey Men’s 1st XI – Royal London Cup & LV= County Championship
The Royal London Cup will be complete by the 19th August. Let’s hope it ends with Surrey lifting the 50-over trophy at Trent Bridge!
To make it there though, we have another five group games to navigate before potential knockout matches on 14th & 17th August.
Those group games are trips to Glamorgan (3rd), Leicestershire (7th) and Derbyshire (12th) and home matches with Somerset (5th) and Warwickshire (10th).

Once the Royal London Cup is over, our LV= County Championship Division Two begins on 30th August at Emirates Riverside against Durham before another three matches follow in September.

Surrey Women
The final match of the season for Surrey Women was postponed in July with a plan to attempt to arrange a rescheduled date in the future. Should Surrey win that 50 over match against Essex they would seal the London Championship title.
If and when that fixture can be arranged, the details will be communicated right here.
Surrey Men’s 2nd XI – 2nd XI Championship
While the Men’s first team are facing Durham at Emirates Riverside, our 2nd XI will be entertaining Kent at Polo Farm in Canterbury. This is the only 2nd XI fixture in August.
The Hundred
The Hundred began on 21st July and will run until 21st August. For more information on the competition, click here.
