It’s almost December 2020 and while there’s no cricket in the UK at the moment, there’s still lots to keep Surrey fans entertained over the coming month.

We know you’re all missing seeing the Three Feathers in action at The Kia Oval but as we move towards next summer, we’re going to have to make do with seeing our players shining on the world stage.

Tom Curran, Will Jacks & Jason Roy will all provide Surrey-based interest in Australia’s Big Bash, running through December & January.

TC returns to the Sydney Sixers, where he made such an impression last season before England duty pulled him away from the knockout stages. His team still lifted the trophy without him and if TC can replicate his 2019/20 form they will be the team to beat again.

After winning the Vitality Blast Player of the Year trophy thanks to Surrey’s run to the final, Jacks gets his first shot as an overseas star in an illustrious T20 competition. He’ll turn out for the Hobart Hurricanes, where our former Head Coach Michael Di Venuto is currently part of the support staff.

Jason Roy was initially planning to go to this year’s IPL but eventually pulled out. He will now go to the Perth Scorchers after England are done in South Africa and after a mixed summer with England before starring for Surrey, he’ll be chomping at the bit to show his world-class talents.

All three will undergo a quarantine period after arriving in Australia that will delay their start to the tournament.

For UK viewers, the Big Bash is live on BT Sport.
