Surrey County Cricket Club will play fixtures against a Sri Lanka Development XI in both four-day and T20 cricket in May.
The four-day match will be played at Guildford Cricket Club between the 20th and 23rd May following the first six matches of the LV= County Championship season.
This will be the only four-day fixture at Guildford CC in 2022, with Surrey also scheduled to feature at Woodbridge Road in the Royal London Cup fixture with Leicestershire on 2nd August.
A floodlit T20 fixture will follow at The Kia Oval on Wednesday 25th May, two days before our Vitality Blast campaign begins with the visit of Glamorgan.
The Sri Lanka Development XI is expected to include the most promising cricketers from Sri Lanka, including many of those hoping to be in contention for the Australia & Pakistan tours of Sri Lanka between June and August.
On their tour of the UK, they will also face Kent, Hampshire, Somerset & Gloucestershire. A squad will be announced by Sri Lanka Cricket nearer to the time.
