Surrey men Sam Curran, Tom Curran & Jason Roy all played all three matches as England defeated South Africa in a T20I series in Cape Town & Paarl.

The Currans and Roy played each of the games – between Friday and Tuesday – while fellow Surrey player Reece Topley was part of the squad.

Left-arm seamer Sam opened the bowling for England in each match, taking three wickets for 87 runs across his nine overs.

His brother Tom bowled 10 overs and took two wickets across the three matches. Opening the batting, Roy scored 30 runs.

Such was England’s dominance in the series, Sam was reduced to two cameo appearances with the bat including one maximum from the eight deliveries he faced while Tom didn’t bat.

England will now head into a three-match ODI series in South Africa, starting on Friday with two matches to follow on Sunday & Wednesday. Tom Curran, Jason Roy & Reece Topley are all in the squad while Sam Curran sits this series out.
