Surrey will look to build on their first victory in the Royal London One-Day Cup when Warwickshire visit The Kia Oval on Sunday.

Surrey were clinical in their victory over Durham at South Northumberland CC on Thursday.

Bowling first, Ben Geddes’ side were able to bowl Durham out for 181 as the wickets were shared around. Liam Trevaskis scored 55 for Durham as the wickets were shared around. Conor McKerr was the pick of the Surrey bowlers, taking 2/19 from his seven overs. 

With the bat, Ben Geddes (35*), Ryan Patel (67*) and Cam Steel (68*) were clinical as Surrey cruised to a nine wicket victory within 29 overs.

Surrey have named an unchanged squad from Thursday’s victory at Durham.

WARWICKSHIRE

Warwickshire won their opening game of the competition away at Gloucestershire by eight wickets.  The Bears managed to bowl Gloucestershire out for 264.

Dom Sibley scored 106 not out as Warwickshire chased their target in 38.4 overs with eight wickets in hand as Indian superstar Krunal Pandya was not required.
