Surrey Women have named a fifteen strong squad for their T20 double header against Kent at Canterbury Polo Farm tomorrow (April 24th).

The only addition to the group from last Monday’s season opening clash with Sussex, which saw the points shared across the two games, is Chloe Brewer, who has recovered from a hamstring twinge.

That means the squad still features England A stars Bryony Smith (pictured) and Alice Capsey, as well as new Club captain Aylish Cranstone, who settled into her new role well as she top scored in Surrey’s first game with 40 off 43 balls. The experienced Kirstie White, who captained the second game in the double header and scored an important 34 in the first, is also available.

With the ball, seamer Eva Gray will be hoping to continue her good form from Monday, where she posted a haul of 3/17 that included both Sussex openers Georgia Adams and Ella Mccaughan. Off spinner Claudie Cooper will be looking to back up her figures of 2/6 from two overs in the first game on Monday and leg spinner Dani Gregory (pictured) will go again after bowling her full allocation in both games, returning 3/35 from her eight overs.

Debutants Charlotte Lambert and Laxmi Johal are named again, with Johal looking to build on her unbeaten 15 in Monday’s second game.
